North (59) – In Felleries, the Bois Jolis museum is located in a superb setting with a magical atmosphere: an old watermill, first mentioned in records dating back to 1466, which still produces flour today.
The only mill in Nord-Pas-de-Calais to have retained its two bucket wheels, the Musée des Bois Jolis in Felleries invites you to come and explore it. Dedicated to woodworking, this museum explains how the village once made its living from woodturning. Once the mill is up and running, you can watch our craftsman at work: from a simple piece of wood, he creates a mushroom, a spinning top, and more right before your eyes.
During the JEM, the museum will only be open on Saturday, May 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Free admission, mill starts up at 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
