SEMPIN mill

In the 19th century, the father of the famous songwriter Jean-Baptiste Clément, author of Le Temps des Cerises, was a miller there. Abandoned, the mill was bought by a merchant in the 1900s. It then became "the mill of the galette." The miller's house was destroyed in 1941. In 1971, the municipality bought the building. It was finally demolished in 1986, only to be rebuilt 140 meters away using the original stones. In 1988, it was inaugurated and became the Moulin du Sempin.
