In 1981, the roof and sails were installed. The project was completed in 1991 with the installation of the milling mechanism and the system for orienting the roof according to the wind. After its restoration, the city opened it to visitors on the third Saturday of the month, from 3 to 6 p.m. Open on May 17
Today, it is the only windmill in Val-de-Marne and has been listed as a historic monument since 1979.
