Forest Flour Mill

Founded in 1921, Minoterie Forest is one of France's leading independent, family-owned mills. The mill has been run by the Forest family for over 100 years. Today, the fourth generation continues to actively develop its flour products and services. Located in the heart of Saône-et-Loire in Burgundy, Minoterie Forest offers a range of high-quality products for artisan bakers.

On the occasion of European Mill Days, Minoterie Forest is opening its doors to give you a glimpse into the world of French milling, its trades, and its unique expertise!

VISIT PROGRAM

  • Home
  • Presentation of a film tracing the organization of the company
  • Visit to the mill 
  • For children aged 6 to 12: fun workshop on bread making

OPENING HOURS 

The open house will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For security reasons:

  • Group of up to 10 people
  • Duration of a visit: 1 hour 30 minutes

Visiting hours: 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m.

  • Not accessible to people with reduced mobility
  • No photography or video recording allowed
  • No pets allowed
  • Removal of jewelry during the visit
  • Provided: protective gown and hairnet
  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn
  • Minimum age: 12 years old
