Cherrueix has three buildings listed as historic monuments:
the Saline mill (owned by the municipality)

the Mondrins mill
These three 19th-century windmills were listed by order of September 7, 1977.
They illustrate the importance of grain production in the Dol marshes. Across the entire municipality, there were once as many as 11 mills in operation. Today, none of these mills are still in use.
