The Sud Gironde Patrimoines association is offering a hike followed by a special tour of the Caussarieu mill, between the Château de Cazeneuve and Préchac.

This mill, dating fromthe 15thcentury, has retained all of its wooden machinery. During this exceptional tour, you will discover, on three levels, the journey taken by the grain until it is ground.

In addition, the Ciron served as a means of transport for wood. The history of raftsmen and millers is inseparable from the daily difficulties of rafting and milling. Photographs will illustrate this confrontation.
