Four windmills were built at the summit of Roc Gachone, the highest point in the Vaunage region.
On the heights of Calvisson, at the summit of Roc de Gachone, the highest point in the Vaunage region, four windmills were built in the 17th and 18th centuries, one of which was destroyed in 1838. The pointed mill is called the "Cassini signal" and was used as a landmark when Louis XIV commissioned a map of France in 1747.
The site offers views of unique and typical landscapes grouped under the name "Vaunage."
It can be reached by car or on foot via a marked hiking trail.
